An overlooking on Muslim countries Global innovation index verses GDP per Capita: Statues of Malaysia

Recently, World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) has released Global Innovation Index (GII). In first report on 2015, Malaysia statue is higher than global trends based on the released data. There is no study conducted to benchmark and compare Muslim countries performance based on 2015 GII report. Hence, this research aims to investigate statues of Malaysia in correlation of GII verses GDP per capita in compare with other Muslim countries. As result of conducted correlation, the mapping analysis shows clearly Malaysia is far and fair above all other Muslim countries on its best performance. This finding is helpful to share our success stories not outside of borders and inside, and to seek governmental aid and tax payer’s pride on continuing the support to Innovation ecosystems of Malaysia.
