The first virtual conference in IGCESH Conference Series was successfully conducted on 18th and 19th August 2020. A total of 129 researchers from 11 countries participated virtually in the 8th International Graduate Conference on Engineering, Science and Humanities (IGCESH 2020) held virtually that organized by Postgraduate Student Society (PGSS UTM) and School of Graduate Studies (SPS UTM).
Day 1 of the conference began with Prof. Dr Fatin Aling Phang Abdullah’s keynote speech (link). She provides an insight on “Education for Sustainable Development towards Achieving Sustainable Development Goals”. The events proceed with an opening Ceremony stream to IGCESH 2020 (link) and School of Postgraduate Studies Facebook live (link). The events then started with opening remarks delivered by Dr Norah Md Noor followed by opening speech given by Prof. Ir. Ts Dr. Zainuddin Abd Manan, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic & International). The opening ceremony reached more than 3000 viewer with 1391 engagement.
Three parallel sessions conducted on 1st day separated into 5 virtual room chaired by UTM Academic staff.
