PGSS FTIR was pleased to conduct “Stress Management for Working Professional Students” Talk on 17th July 2021 (Saturday) in collaboration with SPS UTM. This talk was aimed to share several tips in dealing with stress particularly during this challenging period in which tips will cater for several group of audience either students and working professionals (who work full-time or/and study part-time). It was an honor to have Associate Professor Datin Dr Nooraini Othman with us to share her professional knowledge and experience.

This workshop was promoted a week before the event and managed to have 86 participants to join us through online in Cisco Webex. Based on the participants’ feedback, the majority of them were satisfied with the sharings where the topic was deemed as practical and useful. With the help of the moderator, the Q&A sessions were successfully and the interaction between Dr Nooraini and participants was lively. Participants also agreed that the objective of this workshop was met and practical even though it was conducted online.

Overall, “Stress Management for Working Professional Students” Talk received excellent ratings from participants with many positive comments. Participants suggested to have more online workshops in future. Last but not least, participants appreciated the fruitful collaboration between PGSS FTIR and SPS to make this a fruitful event.
