PGSS SKT was pleased to conduct online structure course “Phd Proposal Defence” on 15th August 2021 (Sunday). It was an honor to have Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mazura Jusoh from School of Chemical and Energy Engineering to share her professional knowledge and experience. This workshop was promoted 2 week before the event through various media platforms that are accessible to students and managed to have 45 participants to join us online in Cisco Webex. This course guides PG students in preparing good quality proposal and share technique to excel in proposal defense. The speaker has briefly explained to the participants how to prepare and deliver their proposal well. The participants receive the information very clearly and the sharing session is very enjoyable.
Biography of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mazura Jusoh
ASSOC. PROF. DR. MAZURA JUSOH
She acquired her Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) from University of Bradford, England in 1999 and Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy (Chemical Engineering) from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She currently an Associate Professor at the School of Chemical and Energy Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. Her research specialization is in Chemical Engineering, specifically in cold separation, focusing on water removal process involving ice cystallisation called freeze concentration. She currently have 69 indexed paper in Scopus and more than 60 non-indexed and conference papers presented. She have served in a few editorial boards.
