19th May, Johor Bahru – PGSS SKA was pleased to conduct a coffee session through an online platform the given tittle “Moving Towards Space Exploration & Terraforming” on 19th May 2022 (Thursday) through the Cisco Webex platform. There were 2 speakers involved which are from UTM, Dr Mohamad Shazwan while from the industry is Mr Amir Farhan. This online structure course was promoted 2 weeks before through media platforms, such as PGSS’s official Facebook, Telegram and Whatsapp. This program was open to all UTM students, including undergraduate and postgraduate students. A total of 123 students has participated in this structured course.

This course aims to:
1. To expose students with the knowledge of space exploration through understanding the origin of the universe.
2. To expose students with the advantages of exploring outer space by means of continuously evolving and growing space technology.
3. To expose students on how terraforming can define the long-term humanity.

The Cisco Webex meeting opened from 9.30 a.m. for participants to log in, and the opening ceremony was conducted at 10.00 a.m. After the moderator finished the speaker’s introduction, this session was handed to the speaker at 10.05 a.m. The first part consumed an hour, was handled by Dr Shazwan by giving an introduction through a space exploration. He also introduced to the participants with the technology, environment and status of space with the real time. Next, the second part continued by Mr Amir Farhan with the real exposure towards space exploration. He is as an ex-engineer of spaceX share experienced that he obtained previously. It was an honoured to invite a real engineer that closely works with space exploration for this program. The QnA session was held at 12.00pm, it was the most an insightful part with various intresting and curiosity questions. And, lastly continue for a photo session. The program ended at 12.30pm.
