24 July, Johor Bahru – This course aims to expose postgraduate students to the best practices of using Minitab software for interpolating and extrapolating various data into meaningful plots. This course was presented by Professor Dr. Kahar bin Osman and Dr. Mohd Omar Mukhtar bin Zainul Azmi are professionals in creating statistical data in a creative way. They introduced the Minitab software in a very easy and entertaining way. It mainly targets six-sigma professionals. It provides a simple approach to input statistical data and identifies the data trends and patterns. We learn how to expertise in Minitab software. From the software, we can compare the means, standard deviations, and minimum and maximum sales prices for each town. The analyst can also create a histogram, individual value plot, and boxplot of the data, to determine whether the data follow a normal distribution, and obtain confidence intervals for the median sales price for the two towns.
