This online coffee session was promoted two weeks before through media platforms, such as PGSS’s official Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. This program was open to all UTM students, including undergraduate and postgraduate students. • To educate postgraduate students on how to avoid distractions during research studies.

The Cisco Webex meeting opened at 9.45 a.m. for participants to log in, and the opening ceremony was conducted at 10.05 a.m. After the moderator finished a brief speaker’s introduction, this session was handed to the speaker at 10.10 a.m. The speaker started the presentation by introducing his experience related to his field.

The speaker also gives a wide view of distraction by first letting the participants know the definition of distraction and the examples. Several participants took part and saw the session as a great opportunity to gain some clarification on factors that influence distraction. The chosen speaker is the right person and is able to help participants release some stress as they choose to share their experiences, as well as the speaker also sharing his own experience, which makes the session more interesting.
