Johor Bahru, 31 October 2025 – A virtual programme titled “Building Information Modelling (BIM) from an Engineering Perspective” was successfully conducted on 31 September 2025 (Monday). The session provided valuable insights into the application of BIM within the engineering field, benefiting participants in understanding current practices and perspectives related to BIM implementation.
During the programme, a minor technical issue was observed whereby the speaker’s audio clarity was occasionally affected. This was likely due to internet connectivity or headphone-related constraints. Despite this, the session continued smoothly and participants were able to follow the overall content of the presentation.
As a post-programme improvement measure, several recommendations have been identified for future virtual events. These include conducting a sound check 15–20 minutes prior to the session to test audio clarity and volume, encouraging speakers to present from a quiet environment with minimal background noise, and organising a short rehearsal session a day before the programme to test the system end-to-end. These initiatives aim to further enhance the quality and effectiveness of future online programmes.
