30th April 2023, JOHOR BAHRU – The fifth postgraduate structured course entitled \u201cArticle Writing and Tips for Publication\u201d has been successfully conducted by Postgraduate Student Society of School of Electrical Engineering (PGSS-SKE), School of Graduate Studies (SPS), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) on 30th March 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n The course aimed to guide and provide tips to postgraduate research students on article writing for publication and to improve technical writing skills for postgraduate students. The program went for about 2 hours online via Cisco-Webex meeting. There was a total of 125 participants including undergraduates and postgraduate students from UTM as well as from other universities.<\/span><\/p>\n The appointed speaker of the session is Dr Raimi Bin Dewan @ Abdul Rahman. Currently, he is a senior lecturer in School of Biomedical Engineering & Health Sciences at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). He is also UHF RFID product coordinator for HID Global. In addition, He is a post-Doctoral researcher in Electronics and Telecommunications Institute at University of Rennes 1, France. Also, He is a senior Manufacturing Engineer for Keysight Technologies and RF design engineer in Smartrac connect things Technology. Moreover, he is a career and personal development speaker and a reviewer for IEEE Access, IET, and process in electromagnetic research. He has published more than 70 articles related in international journals, conferences, and book chapters.<\/span><\/p>\n The moderator started the session at 2:30pm by introducing the topic and speaker. The speaker shared the technical writing skills and tips on article writing for publication.
