The last postgraduate structured course was successfully conducted by PGSS FS in collaboration with School of Graduate Studies UTM, which was led by the director, Mr. Muhammad Hariz Asraf bin Hassan.<\/p>\n
The session entitled Managing Literature Review Effectively was held on 20th October 2020. This session was conducted online using WEBEX online platform which allowed all postgraduate students in UTM to join. The course was attended by 159 participants virtually.<\/p>\n
The session was delivered by a well-known speaker, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shib Krishna Goshal, a senior lecturer in the Physics Department, Faculty of Science. He specializes in the field of Physical Science including materials science and nanotechnology.<\/p>\n
The course had given students the tips tricks to write a compelling and comprehensive literature review be it in the theses or technical papers. The course also aimed to technically emphasize good and suitable vobularies to be used without extensive use of repeated words. Most participants enjoyed the session and had given positive feedback. They were hoping that such session could be conducted again in the near future.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
