On 2<\/span>nd<\/span> May 2021, PGSS SKM-SKBSK in collaboration with SPS UTM was pleased to conduct a structured course for session 2020\/2021 that is \u201cTips and Trick for High Impact Publication” via an online platform. This course aimed to share good writing strategies with the participants in preparing their manuscripts for publication in high-impact journals. It was an honor to have Ts. Dr. Muhammad Hanif bin Ramlee, a senior lecturer of the School of Biomedical Engineering, has also won UTM CITRA Publication Award 2020 with us to share his valuable experiences in publications.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \n In further detail, this course was promoted online a week before the event and managed to secure 70 participants in total to join through online Cisco Webex. Based on the participants’ feedback, almost all of them are satisfied with the sharing by Dr. Hanif. The participants believed that the course was well-organized and beneficial for them. They were also satisfied with the way the speaker clearly conveyed the information on publishing quality manuscripts. In addition, the session was not only based on slides, but it involved two ways of communication and learning. The interaction between the speaker and participants was lively. With the help of the moderator, all participants got the chance to participate in the Q&A session throughout the program.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \n Overall, the \u201cPostgraduate Life Journey\u201d course received excellent ratings from the participants with many positive comments. Nevertheless, some of them did not meet the expectations of this course.
