On 06th February 2021, PGSS SKM-SKBSK, in collaboration with SPS UTM, we’re pleased to conduct the second structured courses for session 2020\/2021 that is \u201cEmotional Challenges of Postgraduates,\u201d via an online platform. This workshop aimed to give awareness to the emotional challenges faced by postgraduate students throughout their study journey. It was an honor to have Dr. Zulfikar bin Ahmad, the Director and Senior Physiology Officer of UTM Counselling Centre, to share this professional knowledge.<\/span><\/p>\n In further detail, this workshop was promoted online a week before the event and managed to secure 23 participants to join us through online Cisco Webex. Based on participants’ feedback, most of them are satisfied with the sharing where the session was believed to be insightful and helpful to fight the emotional challenges as postgraduate students. The session was not based on slides, but it involved two ways of communication and learning. The interaction between the speaker and participants was lively, more like a forum. With the help of the moderator, the Q&A session was successfully conducted throughout the program.<\/span><\/p>\n Overall, \u201cEmotional Challenges of Postgraduates\u201d received excellent ratings from participants with many positive comments.
