The Video Editing Workshop using Wondershare Filmora 11 organised by SPS and PGSS UTM was successfully conducted on the 10th April 2023 (Monday) via webex. A total of 102 participants attended the workshop which was held in conjunction with Research Carnival Month (RCM) 2023.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The workshop was moderated by Ms. Sharel Raj, with guest speaker, Ms. Asraful Syifaa’ Ahmad, Chairperson of RCM 2023 and main speaker, Mr Muhammad Ramziuddin Zakaria, who was also the former president of PGSS FS 2020\/2021 and has countless experience related to video editing in the UTM context.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

With her extensive experience in PGSS activities and related video editing, Ms. Asraful Syifaa briefed on the requirements of 3MT submission and also tips on how to prepare the 3MT video presentation. Mr Ramziuddin provided a very comprehensive step by step workshop on how to prepare the video for 3MT (and also for general use) using Wondershare Filmora 11, which results in videos with a polished and professional look.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

All in all, as commented by one of the participants, the workshop really reflected the spirit of “from students to students”. Hopefully the workshop provided to be beneficial to all those who attended and those participating in 3MT 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

In conjunction with Research Carnival Month 2023, Postgraduate Student Society (PGSS) UTM will organise a video editing workshop via online for all UTM postgraduate students. Come join us to learn video editing skills not only for 3MT but also for video presentations in general such as those required for online conferences.<\/span><\/p>\n
