About Arduino Workshop

Arduino is an open-source electronic prototyping platform based on easy to-use hardware and software that proposed to create interactive machines or environments. Arduino consists of a microcontroller or physical programmable circuit board that is programmed using Arduino programming language and Integrated Development Environment (IDE) software. The software runs on the computer and is used to write code. These codes are then uploaded to the physical circuit board to perform desired outputs from inputs.

Arduino might be familiar among computing and electronic field, but it can be useful in other fields that required the open-source electronic platform in their field as well. Mastering Arduino software and hardware is worthy for the future since it is an emerging device used to create a simple machine in all disciplines. Realizing the benefits of Arduino microcontroller, “Arduino Workshop” intends participants over the beginner’s threshold to an intermediate understanding of the use, terminology, and potential of the Arduino. This workshop’s aptitudes and ideas will be presented from an interdisciplinary approach that merges technology and innovative practices.

In further details, during this event, participants will listen to a talk session from our experienced speaker in this field and they will do hands-on on how to use the Arduino. Due to pandemic Covid-19, this program will be conducted online, and the participants will be encouraged to install software and practice for learning purposes. This workshop targets around 100 participants from UTM and one speaker. Therefore, we hope that this program will be beneficial to all participants that join this workshop and will benefit from this event in the future.
