MEET OUR PANELISTS
PUAN ANITA ADNAN
Puan Anita is a dynamic Education & ICT Consultant Trainer who has vast experience in coaching and training. Her academic credentials include Research Training from University of Nottingham, UK, a Masters degree in Educational Management and a Bachelor in Education (TESL) from National University of Malaysia and now is pursuing DBA at International University of Malaya-Wales. She is currently managing Megabase Group of Companies, with Higher Education & Postgraduates as the focus. She is the founder of a huge support group for Postgraduates with 100k members from all around the world. She believes that technology can help work life balance therefore offers various digital tools via her company, Megabase, to optimise the research work flow of postgraduate students and researchers.
DR. PHIL GOOCH
Dr. Phil Gooch, Founder of Scholarcy has been developing AI solutions for the publishing, education, legal and healthcare sectors for over 25 years. Dr. Phil has a PhD in Health Informatics from City University, London. Prior to founding Scholarcy, he led projects and teams at a number of innovative startups, including Babylon Health, RefME and Mendeley.
MS. EMMA WARREN-JONES
Ms. Emma Warren-Jones has spent 20+ years in the EdTech and academic publishing industries, working with thousands of students, researchers, and librarians at universities around the world. Since 2019 she has been the co-founder of Scholarcy, which is an AI-powered reading tool that is helping students approach complex academic texts with more confidence.
DR. MATEJ GUID
Dr Matej Guid, Founder of InstaText.io has extensive experience as a manager, researcher, mentor, and lecturer in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. He is the founder and CEO of technology start-up companies Avior and InstaText.io. Dr Matej Guid is also a Professor at the University of Ljubljana, where most of his research interests include the development of artificial intelligence methods with application in the construction of expert systems, the development of intelligent tutoring systems, and computer gaming.
DR. MUHAMMAD ABD HADI BUNYAMIN
Dr. Muhammad Abd Hadi is a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His area of specialization is Physics Education. He received his PhD from the University of Minnesota, United States in 2017 and is an alumnus of UTM as he received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the university.
