• Eligibility Criteria
  – To be eligible for this financial aid, applicants must meet the following criteria:
• General Requirements
  1) Must be currently in ‘Active’ status.
  2) Must be an international student
  3) Eligible Semester:
  – PhD students : 1st to 6th Semester
• Specific Requirements for PhD Students
  1) Must not be currently working or receiving any form of financial aid from other sources.
  2) Preference will be given to students with good publications or an outstanding academic track record.

1. General Requirements
       1) Must be currently in ‘Active’ status.
       2) Must be a Malaysian student.
       3) Must not be currently working or receiving any form of financial aid from other sources.
2. Academic Requirements
      1) PhD Students: Must be in the 1st to 6th semester and 45 years old or below.
      2) Master Students: Must be in the 1st to 4th semester and 35 years old or below.
      3) Applicants must have obtained a minimum CGPA of 3.60 (for Master by Mixed-Mode & Taught Course).
      4) Preference will be given to students with good publications or an outstanding academic track record.
3. Financial Requirements
      1) Students with a household income of RM 5,000.00 and below will be given priority.

This incentive is introduced to encourage and recognise high-quality publications by UTM postgraduate students in internationally indexed journals..

• Eligibility Criteria

1. The applicant shall be a registered postgraduate student of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and shall be listed as the First Student Author
2. The Main Supervisor shall be designated as the Corresponding Author or shall be listed as one of the co-authors
3. Applications shall be submitted within the current year for publications published in the current semester or one (1) immediately preceding semester
4. Publication incentive claims shall not be allowed for publications issued by Hindawi, Frontiers, and MDPI
5. Applicants are required to submit a complete application in printed (hardcopy) form to the School of Graduate Studies (SPS) in accordance with the procedures prescribed by SPS.
